I first met Julie back in 2012 when she was in her sister, Jen’s, wedding party in Dominican! Julie contacted me in the fall of 2015 and told me that she was planning a wedding in Jamaica for December 2016. I was so excited for her and excited to meet Mike and hear more about their plans!
They decided for their engagement session to wander around the Niagara on the Lake area and visit some very beautiful and historic places. I think we ended up at more than 6 different locations for photos and it was so much fun – we quite literally photographed until the sun had set and there wasn’t any light left to use! I met them at the Niagara Botanical Gardens which was full of great spots to shoot (and deer!). Then we drove to a few more spots before arriving at Reif Estate Winery, which is one of their favourite wineries in the region, to enjoy a glass of wine and a few photos. We ended the session right in the heart of downtown Niagara on the Lake to grab some ice cream and take a beautiful stroll and enjoy the warm summer evening. It was such a fun day with these two! I can’t wait to share their photos from Jamaica as well!
