This wedding was so special to me and I was so honoured to be there to capture it! Kim and I used to work together, once upon a time (many years ago!) and I was so flattered when she decided to hire me to capture her wedding with Punk. These two are so adorable to watch together, and their love truly shines through. They had their wedding at the stunning Nestleton Waters Inn, and despite a little bit of rain, it was the most beautiful day.
The day was also full of surprises! No one expected Punk to wear a dress, so she surprised her entire bridal party with that, and then walking down the aisle, she surprised Kim’s whole side of the bridal party as well (the faces were priceless!). Punk was full of emotions and it was so hard for me to hold it together during the ceremony. Being that almost all the bridal party was either a police officer or a firefighter….they came prepared with props for photos!
While rain isn’t always what we dream for our wedding day, it’s important to not let it ruin your day or get you down. Embrace the day no matter the weather and enjoy every second…it goes by too fast!
