This is my favourite engagement session I have ever shot! Beautiful locations, a horse on a farm, a beautiful sunset on a gorgeous day and one amazing couple who was so fun to work with. It doesn’t get much better than that 🙂
Aminah and I met a couple years ago in Jamaica when I photographed her sister’s destination wedding (check out Aneesa + Tim’s blog here). When she contacted me to photograph her own wedding, I was elated! I already knew how lovely her family was after spending a week with them, and I was excited to meet Ibrahim and capture their story as well. When Aminah told me she had a horse named Dream and wanted to shoot part of her engagement session on the farm where she boards him – well – I was beyond giddy! We planned to meet at Erchless Estate at the Oakville Museum to shoot a different look before heading off to the barn in Burlington. It was perfect timing, because the light was just what I wanted by the time we got Dream ready for her close up.
We also filmed a short engagement film during the session to test out some new gear and presented it at their wedding as a surprise! Check out the film from North South Films at the end of the blog!
